Herbs in Florida HERBS AND SPICES FOR FLORIDA GARDENS
By Monica Moran Brandies
We like the way Monica talks about her experiences with growing herbs in her own Tampa-area garden. Good lists of all kinds and interesting visits to the gardens of professional herb growers as well as some of Florida's public gardens containing herbs.

China Bayles series of mysteries with herb themes:

Author Susan Wittig Albert has delighted herb and mystery lovers alike with her China Bayles series. Readers have looked forward to a new one every year since Thyme of Death debuted in 1993.
China Bayles is an ex-attorney from Houston who gave up a lucrative job to open an herb shop in Pecan Springs, Texas. Her background serves her well as she is drawn up into helping solve local crimes.
China's life follows a line throughout this series so we have laid out the fifteen regular books in chronological order as they have been written, but they can be read in any order.  The sixteenth book, An Untimely Death, is a compilation of short stories about China Bayles. All are available in paperback except the most recent Spanish Dagger which will be out in paperback April 2008.
