Clark's Herbal Pathways

On May 5th 2003, the Central Florida Herb Society visited the backyard herb garden of Lois and Chuck Clark in Orlando. What a treat!! The Clarks have created a magnificent feast for all the senses: We admired the beauty of a bounty of flowers, colors and textures. We couldn't help but touch the incredible softness of the lamb's ears and the prickliness of the thistles. We relished the heady smells of culinary herbs, the funky smells of artemisias and lemon marigold and the perfumes of hundreds of flowers. The Clarks have made their garden a haven for wildlife, so we enjoyed the sounds of birds and trickling water. Lastly, we were delighted to taste the herbal refreshments prepared by Lois and the other members of the Herb Society. Thank you Lois and Chuck for an inspiring and uplifting afternoon.
